Which leagues and countries can you play in My Legacy?
The base game has 21 countries, each with a three-tier league pyramid — except Türkiye, which has seven levels from academy football up to the Süper Lig. Five optional regional packs add Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Gulf and North America as 24-club super leagues. Countries are not reskins: each has its own wage multiplier, prestige, youth quality, adaptation difficulty, fan pressure and injury climate, and those numbers change what a career in that country actually feels like. England is the fame ceiling. The Gulf pays the most. Africa pays the least and injures you the most.
The base game: 21 countries
Every country below ships with authentic league names and a three-tier pyramid, with real European qualification slots for its top division.
England (Premier League / Championship / League One) · Germany (Bundesliga / 2. Bundesliga / 3. Liga) · Spain (La Liga / La Liga 2 / Primera RFEF) · Italy (Serie A / B / C) · France (Ligue 1 / Ligue 2 / National) · Portugal · Netherlands (Eredivisie / Eerste Divisie / Tweede Divisie) · Belgium (Jupiler Pro League) · Scotland · Austria · Switzerland · Czechia (Fortuna:Liga) · Denmark · Norway · Poland (Ekstraklasa) · Ukraine · Greece (Super League 1) · Croatia (SuperSport HNL) · Serbia (Superliga Srbije) · Romania · Türkiye
Türkiye has the deepest pyramid in the game
Seven levels, which is more than double anything else:
| Level | League |
|---|---|
| 1 | Süper Lig |
| 2 | TFF 1. Lig |
| 3 | TFF 2. Lig (2 groups) |
| 4 | TFF 3. Lig (4 groups) |
| 5 | BAL (2 groups) |
| 6 | Amateur (2 groups) |
| 7 | Academy |
If you want the full rags-to-riches climb — amateur pitches to the top flight — Türkiye is the only place you can play all of it.
European qualification slots
Top divisions carry real slot counts. England gets 5 Champions League + 2 Europa + 2 Conference. Germany, Spain, Italy and France get 4 + 3 + 2. Portugal and the Netherlands get 2 + 3 + 2. Türkiye gets 1 + 2 + 2. Serbia and Romania get no Champions League slot at all — Europa and Conference only.
What actually makes countries different
Each country carries a set of levers that change your career materially:
| Lever | What it does to you |
|---|---|
| Economic multiplier | Scales your wage. Independent of prestige. |
| League prestige | Multiplies your market value and reputation gains. Prestige 50 is the 1.0 baseline. |
| Youth development | How fast a young player grows there. |
| Adaptation difficulty | The penalty you take when you move there from abroad. |
| Fan pressure | Multiplies how hard fan expectation hits your morale and form. |
| Injury risk modifier | Climate and pitch quality, from −1 to +2. |
| Media exposure | How visible you are to foreign clubs, and how fast fame grows. |
| Competitiveness | Harder to post good performances, but worth more reputation. |
The numbers, for the countries where the choice actually matters
| Country | Wage × | Prestige | Youth | Adapt. | Fan pressure | Injury |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| England | 0.85 | 100 | 85 | 30 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Spain | 1.0 | 95 | 90 | 35 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Germany | 1.0 | 88 | 88 | 38 | 1.3× | −1 |
| Italy | 1.0 | 85 | 82 | 40 | 1.5× | 0 |
| France | 1.0 | 80 | 92 | 38 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Netherlands | 1.0 | 75 | 88 | 32 | 1.2× | 0 |
| Portugal | 1.1 | 72 | 85 | 35 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Denmark | 0.95 | 60 | 82 | 30 | 1.2× | −1 |
| Türkiye | 1.2 | 55 | 60 | 45 | 1.6× | 0 |
| Scotland | 1.0 | 55 | 68 | 28 | 1.5× | +1 |
| Poland | 1.2 | 54 | 66 | 42 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Ukraine | 1.2 | 48 | 62 | 50 | 1.4× | 0 |
| Greece | 1.2 | 45 | 52 | 40 | 1.5× | 0 |
| Romania | 1.1 | 42 | 58 | 44 | 1.5× | 0 |
Some things fall straight out of that table:
England is the fame ceiling. Prestige 100 and the highest media exposure in the game. Your market value multiplier is prestige / 50, so England is a 2.0× on market value where Türkiye is 1.1×. If you want to become a global icon, this is where it happens. Note the wage multiplier is only 0.85, though — England pays you in prestige, not in cash.
Türkiye pays above its prestige. A 1.2× wage multiplier on a prestige of 55 means you earn more relative to the league's standing than you would in Italy or Spain. That is a deliberate design choice. The cost is the highest fan pressure in the base game at 1.6× — the crowd will be on you.
France and Spain are where you grow. Youth development 92 and 90. If your player is young and you want to maximise development, this is the pick — and France combines it with a manageable 1.4× fan pressure.
Ukraine is the hardest place to move to in the base game, at adaptation difficulty 50.
Scotland is the only base-game country with a positive injury modifier (+1). Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and Norway all get −1.
Note also: moving within your language group halves the adaptation penalty. Türkiye is turkic, England is germanic, and Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and Belgium are all latin — so a Spain-to-Italy move is much softer than a Spain-to-Poland move of the same size.
The five regional packs
Each optional pack adds a single-tier, 24-club super league representing a whole continent, with no relegation.
| Pack | League | Composition |
|---|---|---|
| Latin America | Latin America All-Star Super League | Brazil 8, Argentina 7, Colombia 3, Chile 2, Uruguay 2, Ecuador 1, Paraguay 1 |
| Africa | African All-Star Champions League | Nigeria 4, Egypt 4, Morocco 4, South Africa 4, Algeria 2, Tunisia 2, Ghana 2, Senegal 2 |
| Asia-Pacific | Asia-Pacific Champions League | Japan 4, South Korea 4, Indonesia 4, Malaysia 3, Thailand 3, Australia 3, China 2, Vietnam 1 |
| Gulf & Middle East | Gulf & Middle East Champions League | Saudi Arabia 6, UAE 4, Qatar 4, Iran 4, Kuwait 3, Iraq 1, Bahrain 1, Oman 1 |
| North America | North American & Caribbean All-Star League | USA 8, Mexico 7, Canada 3, Costa Rica 2, Jamaica 2, Honduras 1, Haiti 1 |
You can start a career in a regional pack, not just transfer into one.
The packs are mechanically opinionated, not reskins
| Region | Wage × | Prestige | Youth | Adapt. | Fan pressure | Injury |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gulf | 1.8 | 68 | 62 | 58 | 1.2× | +1 |
| North America | 1.4 | 70 | 72 | 30 | 1.0× | 0 |
| Asia-Pacific | 1.1 | 65 | 72 | 65 | 1.3× | 0 |
| Latin America | 0.75 | 72 | 85 | 55 | 1.5× | +1 |
| Africa | 0.55 | 60 | 75 | 60 | 1.4× | +2 |
- The Gulf is the money. A 1.8× wage multiplier is by far the highest in the game — higher than anywhere in Europe, England included. Prestige is only 68, so this is explicitly the take-the-cheque region.
- Africa is the hardest career in the game. The 0.55× multiplier means you earn roughly a third of what a comparable Gulf club pays, and it carries the worst injury climate anywhere at +2.
- Asia-Pacific is the hardest place to adapt, at 65.
- Latin America is a talent factory. Youth development 85 — second only to France's 92 — on the lowest wages outside Africa. That is the classic develop-here, get-sold-to-Europe loop, and it is built into the numbers.
- North America is the softest landing anywhere. Adaptation difficulty 30, the only region in the entire game with fan pressure at 1.0×, and high media exposure. If you want a low-stress career that still keeps you visible, this is it.
On the club names
Every club in the game is fictional by design — no real club names, logos, kits, stadiums or player names anywhere. The regional pack names are deliberately evocative rather than generic: Rio Regatas FC, La Boca Juniors, Tamoio Corinthians, Rey de Copas FC. Each one is built from a real club's history — its full formal name, its neighbourhood, its nickname — rather than a scrambled version of the trademark.
So where should you start?
- For the full climb: Türkiye. Seven tiers, nowhere else has more than three.
- For fame: England. Prestige 100 and a 2.0× market value multiplier.
- For development: France, Spain, or Latin America if you have the pack.
- For money: the Gulf, at 1.8×. Türkiye and Poland at 1.2× are the best-paying base-game options relative to prestige.
- For an easy life: North America — lowest pressure and lowest adaptation difficulty in the game. Or Scotland and Belgium in the base game, both at 28–30 adaptation.
- For difficulty: Africa. Lowest wages, worst injury climate, high adaptation cost.
FAQ
How many leagues are in My Legacy?
The base game has 21 countries with three-tier pyramids, except Türkiye which has seven levels — 26 distinct league systems in total. Five optional regional packs add one 24-club super league each for Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Gulf and North America.
What is the best country to start a career in My Legacy?
It depends on what you want. England for fame and market value, France or Spain for youth development, the Gulf for wages, Türkiye if you want to climb through seven divisions, and North America if you want the lowest-pressure career.
Can you play in Türkiye in My Legacy?
Yes, and Türkiye has the deepest league structure in the game — seven levels from academy football through amateur and BAL up to the Süper Lig. It also has the highest fan pressure in the base game and pays above what its prestige would suggest.
Are there real clubs in My Legacy?
No. Every club, kit, stadium and player name in the game is fictional. Names in the regional packs are built from real clubs' histories, neighbourhoods and nicknames rather than from their trademarks.
Does the country I play in actually change anything?
Substantially. Each country has its own wage multiplier, prestige (which multiplies market value and reputation), youth development quality, adaptation difficulty, fan pressure multiplier and injury climate. Playing in Africa versus the Gulf is roughly a threefold difference in wages plus a real difference in how often you get hurt.
Do I need the regional packs to play the game?
No. The full base career across 21 countries is free. The regional packs add new playable regions as optional content; they do not gate or unlock progression in the base game.
